Halo 3: Keep It Clean

If you have not all ready scene the trailer for the new Halo 3 Campaign or what ever its going to be you need to check out Bungie.net now! I have been reading over the Bungie forums a lot to find out as much as possible and have watched it about 10 times now. Bungie are great for fan service and I am looking forward to seeing more from this project. I-Phone As A Gaming Platform

The I-Phone has sure been a hot topic among gamers and game developers over the last few months. Its been very interested to see whats been released on it so far and how big developers and publishers are reacting to it. By far the most impressive game for the platform is the flight sim I am hearing a lot about, its suppose to be quite realistic and its only 6.2MB compared to its 20GB PC version.

I have been very interested in trying out development for the I-phone my self, I am not a programer so I don’t have a clue where to start but I have some very interested ideas that I think could work very well. At the moment there is really no quality control from apple for what goes up on the store, but I think over time we are going to see more and more quality titles on the system and I could see it as a rival for the PSP and DS. Its not going to be a hard core gaming platform but I think it could offer something for everyone as a portable gaming device.

Blog V2.2

So I have finished off what should be around version 2.2 of the blog (sort of made that up ish). I removed and added some stuff down the side over the last wile and updated the about text. As you should also see we have a new banner for the next few months which I plan to change every season. If you are having issues with seeing the new stuff you may need to clear your cash and reload the browser. Might be a few minor changes left, but that’s it for now. Hope you all like it.

Four New Games!

So I finally got round to spending the 100 Euros worth of GAME gift cards I had. As it was euros I had to go down to the south of Ireland to use them, but it was worth it. I came away with Spore which was the main one I was after as well as WoW: Burning Crusade, C&C Kane’s Wrath for 360 (which I got for my brother) and Resistance Fall of Man. I did not like the demo for Resistance but I still wanted to give the game a try and at the end of the day it was not costing me anything so I am looking forward to getting into that one.

WoW is grabbing the BC patch at a very slow 72kb and I have played a good bit of Spore so far which I love. Its a great game and I recommend everyone checks it out, loads of fun to be had. Its crap out side so I am looking foward to getting into them over the weekend.

Google Chrome

So google released there web browser “chrome” today and I have to say I am very impressed with it. As soon as I first heard about it all I could think about was it being packed full of the usual google crap but after using it for a good bit I do really like it. Its much better than firefox which I do not like at all, but does have a few issues which I think they need to fix soon like no RRS support at all. Having said that, it also has a lot of features that are very useful and other browsers do not have. 

I am still a bit unclear if I will use this now or move back over to IE7 or IE8 when it comes out soon. Chrome can not do everything I need it to do at the moment so for the next little wile I will use both. But i could most likley end up using IE.
